The 6.5mm/.264 inch bore has recently enjoyed a resurgence of interest. The 2008 introduction of the 6.5 Creedmoor has a lot to do with that! Competitive HighPower and Silhouette shooters have also shown great interest in the 6.5mm bore size. The 142 grain #1742 bullet has a longer ogive radius than the 140 grain #1740 bullet and thus a higher ballistic coefficient with less sensitivity to crosswinds. . This bullet requires a barrel twist rate of 1×8” or faster. Great choice in the 6.5 PRC too
