A Pristine action is designed to be a direct Remington 700 replacement upgrade. No over-size bolt issues as is common with other aftermarket actions.

The Pristine Bolt Action Receiver strives to give you the best shooting experience. To that end, they have expanded the applicability of the Bolt Action Receiver through several design choices and the inclusion of an exchangeable bolt head.

Starting with the exchangeable bolt head, the receiver does not tie you to shooting .308. Bolt heads are available for both .223 and .308, and .445 inch cartridge widths, where each bolt head fits a number of cartridges.

The Pristine Bolt Action Receiver accepts Savage pre-fit barrels (1.062/1.055 x 20TPI) for simple and easy installation and minimal smithing. The receiver also fits all triggers compatible with the Remington 700 and no trigger hanger is ever required.

The receiver is compatible with the standard Remington stock/chassis system. This opens up the shooter to hundreds of aftermarket options. If your use requires the utmost precision or if you hunt the high country and are more concerned with environmental conditions and weight you need to find the right stock/chassis. The Pristine Bolt Action Receiver will drop into your stock/chassis of choice. Extending the applicability of your chosen stock, the receiver mates with both blind magazine stocks and external magazine-fed stocks.

The double pinned 20 MOA Picatinny rail was designed specifically for this action (#8/40 base screws). The rail will be compatible with your optic and/or rings of choice. Regardless of your use the compatibility of the Pristine Bolt Action Receiver will support your needs to the fullest.

SAKO EXTRACTOR

With the inclusion of a Sako extractor, the Pristine Bolt Action Receiver offers superior extraction and ejection reliability. This robust extractor design ensures consistent performance, even in challenging shooting conditions, providing shooters with peace of mind and enhanced functionality.

ENHANCED RELIABILITY

The receiver includes pinned precision recoil lug, 6 lug floating bolt head (short action only, otherwise 2 lug for magnum / long action), a roller cocking piece, and double ejection pins. Pristine uses only the highest quality precision bolt action parts for their receiver.

Prestine mills the precision recoil lug to a uniformity of +/- 0.0001” and double pinning holes allow for single or double pinning for positive pin retention. The 6 lug floating bolt head utilizes two rows of three locking lugs to both ensure a safer positive lock while enabling a lighter bolt lift and smoother bolt throw. Contributing to the smooth bolt throw and light bolt lift is also the roller wheel cocking piece. The hardened steel roller drastically reduces friction and contributes to smoother bolt lift. However, these two features allow for the use of a stiffer firing pin spring, facilitating more reliable primer strikes.

SMOOTH OPERATION AND PRECISION CRAFTSMANSHIP

Another aid to reliability is the dual ejection pins. The dual ejector pins grab the round with the assurance of a clean ejection every time. Capping off the design is the 90-degree bolt lift. Going a step beyond the traditional 60-degree lift, the 90-degree lift lets the bolt spread the work over a longer arc, therefore, aiding the ease and smoothness of the lift. The final internal design element is the interchangeable bolt head. Whether you are shooting .223, or .308 the bolt will support your choice of cartridge. Adding convenience to the design is the replaceable bolt knob (standard 5/16-24 thread) allows you to choose the bolt knob that best fits your primary point of contact. Whether you want an oversized bolt or one with an aggressive knurl, you can customize it to fit your needs. When every second and movement counts, the Pristine team has gone to great lengths to ensure perfection.

The design is topped off with meticulous machining that ensures reduced friction and an Isotropic surface finish for the smoothest action possible.
