The Patriot is built with two pieces of latex stacked on top of each other. The top latex is cut with a very special multipurpose cut out. This cut out allows the bottom latex to be soft and subtle for cow and calf talk. All the while this top latex adds thickness and stability to the bottom. Firming up the sides of the bottom latex makes it seem as though the latex is thicker and tighter. This firmness leads to exceptionally strong and easy to obtain bugle tones. As with many great bugling reeds The Patriot comes with a dome. This dome adds realism to your sounds, adding enjoyment to your calling.
The Patriot is designed for everyone from beginners to the best of all callers. Wapiti wanted to design an all-around reed for cow, calf and all bull sounds.
