WHAT IS THE VORTEX RELAY™ NETWORK?

anywhere. This network is designed to get out of your way and enhance your long-range capability and overall shooting experience.
WHAT ARE THE TOP USES FOR THIS PRODUCT?
Western Hunting, Long-Range Shooting, and Competition Shooting. The Ace™ is both intuitive and capable and is a great tool for beginner
and advanced users.
WHEN DOES THE ACE™ NEED TO BE CALIBRATED?
The Ace™ should be calibrated during initial setup and should be re-calibrated every time you significantly change location, typically 30
miles or more, or after changing the battery. Calibrate your Ace™ outside and away from large metal structures or objects with the Wind
Impeller Cover closed.
WHAT DATA CAN THE ACE™ ON-BOARD SENSORS CAPTURE?
The Ace™ has on-board sensors to capture real-time atmospheric and environmental data. Its wind impeller can capture wind speed.
The on-board compass and inclinometer can capture target direction, wind direction, and inclination angle. Its on-board
environmental sensors can capture temperature, pressure, and humidity.

WHAT ARE THE BALLISTIC PROFILES THAT COME PRELOADED ON THE ACE™?
The Ace™ comes with 10 preloaded rifle profiles including .308 Winchester®, 6.5 Creedmoor®, .223/5.56, .30-06, .300 Winchester® Magnum,
.270 Winchester®, 7mm Remington® Magnum, .243 Winchester®, .22-250 Remington®, and .22 Long Rifle. These preloaded profiles can be
used as is or customized to match your setup within the Ace™ or via the GeoBallistics® App.
WHY CREATE A CUSTOM RIFLE PROFILE?
Building a custom profile for your firearm allows you to harness the total power of the GeoBallistics® solver and increases the accuracy of
your ballistic solutions.
WHAT RIFLESCOPE UNITS ARE COMPATIBLE WITH THE ACE™?
The Ace™ can provide wind/drop solutions in MOA, MRAD, and inches.
HOW DO I UPDATE THE RIFLE PROFILES ON THE ACE™?
Rifle profiles can be customized and updated directly on the Ace,™ via the GeoBallistics® App, or any Vortex Relay™ compatible device. While
paired, any updates automatically sync. If changes are made while the devices are not paired, you will be prompted upon repairing to choose
which device’s profiles you’d like to use. The profiles on the device you select will then be sync’d between both devices to ensure one source
of truth.
WHAT CHANGES REQUIRE A NEW RIFLE PROFILE?
Small adjustments to your firearm setup can create large effects on your solution’s accuracy. We recommend creating new or updating
rifle profiles when you change bullet types, change optics, or add accessories like suppressors for the most accurate solution. From the
GeoBallistics® App these small profile changes are easy to make by building out your bullets, optics, and muzzle devices within your Armory.
DO I NEED TO HAVE MY SMART PHONE WITH ME WHILE USING THE ACE™?
No. The Ace™ is a completely stand-alone device and does not need the GeoBallistics® App to work. Connecting to the GeoBallistics® App
opens up additional App features and quick and convenient edits.
DO I NEED CELL PHONE RECEPTION TO BE ABLE TO UTILIZE THE GEOBALLISTICS® APP WITH MY ACE™?
No, the devices pair via Bluetooth®. It is important to note that the smart phone’s Bluetooth® must be on for the devices to pair.
