Returns & Shipping

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.    To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.     To start a return, you can contact us at “sales@nechakooutdoors.ca”. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return may not be accepted.     You can always contact us for any return question at “sales@nechakooutdoors.ca”. 

Damages and issues 

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items 

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods, dangerous goods (ammunition, reloading powder, primers, binary targets), or custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.  We cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. Shipping charges are not eligible for refund, unless the item shipped was an error on our part.

Refunds 

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post your refund.

Shipping Surcharges and special requirements :

We now require a PAL # and date of birth for all optics purchases, due to transaction safety protection. Too many fraudulent orders these days

$15 flat rate for most items, to most locations, however the following situations will incur additional shipping fees :

Overweight/Large/Bulky Items surcharge : Based on package size and/or weight, an additional freight fees will be applicable. We will contact you with details on these additional charges once we have reviewed your order.

AMMUNITION, POWDERS and PRIMERS: Ammunition, powders and primers cannot ship by via Canada Post; these items will be shipped via GROUND courier service. These non-postal freight charges are the customer's responsibility and will be applied to the total order cost after checkout. We will contact you with details on these additional charges once we have reviewed your order. Both a daytime phone number and street address are required for these shipments.

OTHER DANGEROUS/HAZARDOUS GOODS: As with ammunition, powder and primers, these items will require special shipping and/or carrier. Additional shipping charges will be applicable to these orders. We will contact you with details on these additional charges once we have reviewed your order.

Delivery for customers in Extended Service Areas will be charged a shipping surcharge after check out, we will contact you with the extra shipping charges once calculated.

Shipping Restrictions

Firearm PAL and Date of Birth are required for scopes and optics, for our transaction safety protection.

For orders with ammunition, we can not ship to a PO Box. The shipping address must be a physical address for courier delivery

It is our policy to only ship firearms to the mailing address that the PAL holder has on file with the RCMP.

In the event that package can not be delivered or is refused delivery without prior discussion with us, we can not refund shipping charges. Re-ship will be charged
